Karst's Camp Karst’s Camp was originally a dude ranch that was founded in 1901 by Pete Karst, but today it is a ghost town. At one time, Karst ran a successful resort with 25 cabins, a bar and a brothel. The original cabins are still standing and are occupied today but the ski lift and the camp no longer exists. However, visitors can venture to the old asbestos mine. Address: Highway 191 Big Sky MT USA 59716
